Ann Boroch on yeast and your lymph system

Q: Can yeast cause lymph glands to enlarge? If so, how can I cleanse my lymph system?

A: Yes, lymph glands can enlarge because the by-products of yeast and fungi create an accumulation of toxins, putting more stress on your lymphatic system. When this fluid buildup doesn’t filter out of the body fast enough, there will be inflammation in your lymph nodes and glands.

Exercise, breathe deeply, and dry skin brush to help your lymphatic system move the accumulated waste out of the body.

Also consider taking a lymphatic cleansing formula that can consist of any of the following herbs: Oregon grape, blue flag, stillingia, marshmallow, mullein, red clover, milk thistle, and ginger.

I often recommend Red Clover Combination (Nature's Way), available at health food stores, an excellent lymphatic cleansing formula. . This product includes many of the above herbs to help the blood, lymph, and bowels work normally. I would suggest starting with 1 pill and slowly increasing to the recommended dose of 3 pills per day. If stools are loose or diarrhea occurs, then reduce your dose or stop taking it. DO NOT COMBINE THIS PRODUCT WITH THE NATURLAX #3 MENTIONED IN THE EXPERT ADVICE SECTION.
